We are delighted to announce that MESA 2018 will be held entirely at The Omni King Edward Hotel, one of Toronto’s most luxurious, prestigious and historic hotels. Opened in 1903 and named after King Edward VII, the “King Eddie” as it is affectionately known to Torontonians, was the first luxury hotel built in Toronto.

The hotel has recently undergone a $40 million renovation and has been re-imagined for the 21st century in an effort to showcase the old-world charm and vibrancy of Toronto, while at the same time completely transform its spacious guest rooms, meeting spaces, lobby, restaurant and bar. Its 301 oversized guestrooms and suites have been lavishly appointed with the finest in furnishings, custom bedding, vintage crown mouldings, marble bathrooms and more.

Both dining establishments, Victoria’s Restaurant and the Consort Bar, feature updated menus that include local, seasonal ingredients and classic cooking methods. The hotel’s long-standing tradition of serving Afternoon Tea – a favourite activity of both families and people-watchers since the turn of the 20th century – lives on from Friday through Sunday.

MESA participants are offered an attractive room rate of CAD$269 per night for a 350 sq. ft. deluxe room, featuring stylish décor, large HDTV, large working desk, Wi-Fi, Keurig coffee machine, laptop-sized safe, premium bedding and bathroom amenities.

Participants may also wish to indulge themselves at the Nouvelle Maria Spa, located in the hotel, or hit the fitness centre for a workout.

Ideally located on the edge of charming Old Toronto, The Omni King Edward Hotel is within a short walking distance to many of the most iconic landmarks in “Hogtown”, including:

· Toronto’s historic St. Lawrence Market, rated one of the world’s finest covered farmer’s markets
· Canada’s Hockey Hall of Fame
· The CN Tower and Ripley’s Aquarium
· Eaton Centre, featuring some of Toronto’s best shopping
